Epoxy floor installer

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Shiny Boys Coatings Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

We're looking for a hardworking and skilled labourer to assist with the installation of epoxy floor systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects around Winnipeg. This is a short-term contract position with potential for ongoing work for the right person.

Responsibilities:

  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
  • Operate diamond grinders and surface prep equipment
  • Mix and apply epoxy coatings alongside an experienced installer
  • Assist with setup, cleanup, and material handling as required

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction, flooring, or general trades is an asset
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work for extended periods
  • Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in quality workmanship
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites around Winnipeg
  • Comfortable working as an independent contractor (paid by invoice)

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly or day rate based on experience
  • Paid by contract / invoice (not payroll employment)
