As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll play a crucial role in our operations by unloading, loading, and processing metal materials at our facility. Your commitment to quality work and reliability will make you an essential part of our team.
Schedule:
This is a Permanent, Full-Time Position, Monday to Friday 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with scheduled overtime. For the duration of training, the shift schedule is Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Position Overview:
The Heavy Equipment Operator requires the ability to operate a variety of equipment ranging from small to large with a safety-first mindset.
- Operating heavy equipment such as a material handlers and/or various-sized excavators
- Operating skid-steer and large stationary equipment specific to our industry
- Conduct pre-operational safety inspections and participate in our safety program
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to those with experience operating various sized excavators
- Mechanical ability to perform general maintenance
