Location: Dartmouth, NS
This position is vital to the dealership in achieving parts sales and ensuring profitable operations of the parts department.
Responsibilities:
Personnel
- Hiring and training of new employees
- All aspects of payroll (timecards, time off requests, scheduling)
- Develop and direct all Parts employees to ensure they meet their assigned sales targets.
- Performance reviews
- Ensure the training of all Parts personnel are current and up-to-date.
Daily
- Place daily emergency and direct ship orders
- Monitor DIA and ensure adequate stocking levels.
- Direct ship orders
- Review Overrides
- Review Accounts Payable Invoices
Inventory
- Manage all aspects of inventory no bin locations, obsolete parts, cycle counts and yearly inventory.
Financial
- Assist in development, analyze and control the budgets for Parts being financially responsible.
Review Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly Sales Targets and Expense Controls
- Monthly financial review with Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations, NB
Other
- Warehouse supervision – shipping/receiving.
- Cores management and warranty parts returns
- Request SPA's from Navistar and monitor for payment
- Maintain stock and cleanliness in show room.
- Ensure all customers get first rate customer service.
- Maintain Navistar Training
- Adhere to all ECI and Safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
