Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team . The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient operations. Additional training will be provided.

Duties:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
  • Maintain electronic medical records with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Verify insurance information and process payments
  • Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed
  • Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care
  • Keep the reception area organized and tidy

Skills:

  • Proficiency in office procedures and equipment
  • Experience with Healthquest software
  • Knowledge of front desk operations in a medical office setting
  • Familiarity with phone systems and etiquette
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work with electronic medical records systems
  • Understanding of medical terminology and procedures
