Job Title: Project Manager with Personal Health Network Initiative

Location: Fredericton, NB (Hybrid/Onsite)

Duration: 24 Months (Possible Extension)

Job description:

Formulates statements of management, scientific and business problems, establishes procedures for the development and implementation of significant, new or modified computer systems to solve these problems, and obtains approval thereof.

Defines and documents the objectives for the project, determines budgetary requirements, the composition, roles and responsibilities, and terms of reference for the project team.

Manages the project during the development, implementation and operations start up by ensuring that resources from all service areas are made available

Reports progress of the project on an ongoing basis, and at scheduled points in the life cycle to the sponsors of the project.

Evaluates proposed computer systems to determine technical feasibility, functional adequacy, and estimated costs for implementation and operation.

Meets in conference with program managers and other cognizant officials and states problems in a form capable of being solved.

Prepares plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems.

Works with a variety of scientific, business or engineering tools requiring a sound knowledge of mathematics and management sciences.

Must have a demonstrated capability of managing a team of specialists, analysts and programmers.

Must Have Skills:

A University bachelor's level degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Recent and relevant experience in a Senior Project Manager role:

Recent Project Management experience in the digital health /eHealth space in a Canadian jurisdiction:

IM/IT experience:

Demonstrated experience managing projects directly affecting Enterprise Master Patient Index and master data management components:

Nice to Have:

Demonstrated recent experience as a Senior Project Manager managing technology projects within eHealth/digital health. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a Canadian jurisdiction:

Strong skills and experience in communication planning, coordination and implementation including presentations to internal, external and executive stakeholders:

Demonstrated experience in establishing and supporting project governance to support effective oversight, guidance, decision making and approvals:

Demonstrated experience in successfully managing large, complex projects that cross multiple business units and organizations (more than 4 or 5), involve multiple direct project participants (more than 15), and operate for an extended period of time (more than 1 year), and involve addressing business transformation and technical issues:

Demonstrated experience in specific project monitoring, control and execution activities including planning, scheduling, reporting, quality management, issue/risk management, change control, implementation and transition to operations.

Demonstrated experience IT Contingent Labour and capabilities as a Project Manager overseeing a team of specialists on information technology projects.

Demonstrated experience in vendor and contract governance and management to achieve project outcomes and benefits.

Familiarity with security related to data confidentiality and client privacy as it relates to client's Personal Health Information Privacy and Access Act (PHIPAA).

Recognized Project Management certification.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $70.00-$75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
