The focus of our team is providing transportation consulting services in support of projects for municipal, provincial and regional clients, as well as for private developers in Western Canada (BC and AB). We support our clients in optimizing operations on existing networks and recommend operational changes to support all modes of transport. We also undertake road safety analysis and reviews to minimise collisions and to eliminate major injuries and fatalities (Vision Zero), and to recommend mitigation and actions to be taken. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, demonstrate excellent communication skills, be eager to learn, and indicate an interest to work on a wide variety of private and public sector projects.
Arcadis provides flexible and remote work arrangements, career development opportunities and a supportive and collaborative team environment. We encourage involvement in professional associations, conferences, and support our staff to grow through life-long learning.
As a part of Mobility Advisory Canada, we partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunities for everyone. Climate change, urbanization and digitization trends are requiring today's mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the world's growing population. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods.

You will also gain hands-on experience with in-service road safety reviews, before and after analyses, and road safety audits.
Additionally, in this role you will support the development of Light Rail Transit (LRT) and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems, and contribute to roadway planning and preliminary design studies by analyzing existing transportation operations and evaluating alternative configurations. You will help prepare Multiple Accounts Evaluations (MAE) and business cases for transportation projects, develop traffic management plans, and coordinate projects with other technical disciplines to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Your responsibilities will also include preparing technical reports and documenting your analyses to support project success and inform client decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience:
