Purpose of the Role:

As the Senior Administrative and Legal Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support to Executives, the legal team, and various departments across the organization. You will manage day-to-day administrative tasks, draft and prepare legal documents, and help maintain a professional, welcoming, and efficient work environment. To thrive in this role, you will bring strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic setting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You have 5–8 years of experience in legal or office administration, with a solid understanding of legal and business terminology.
  • You have strong proficiency in document formatting, database software, Microsoft Office Suite, and office management tools.
  • You have excellent organizational and time management skills, allowing you to prioritize effectively and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and you build positive, respectful relationships across teams and with external partners.
  • You have a proven ability to meet deadlines, handle confidential information with discretion, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • You have a customer-focused mindset and contribute to a welcoming and professional workplace culture.

What Success looks like in this role:

  • You will coordinate schedules, meetings, travel arrangements, and expense reporting for Executives, ensuring alignment with Svante's Travel Policy.
  • You'll prepare and manage professional documents including agendas, presentations, correspondence, and legal contracts.
  • You will handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records—both physical and digital.
  • You will manage external communications including company inboxes, voicemail, vendor interactions, and legal filings with courts and agencies.
  • You'll support a positive and inclusive office culture by maintaining common areas and participating in internal committees such as safety, social, sustainability, and DEI.
