Gulf Operators is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quarry Superintendent to oversee the daily operations of one of our quarry sites. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of aggregate materials while maintaining compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage all quarry operations including drilling, blasting, crushing, and hauling.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of quarry personnel and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Monitor production metrics and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain equipment and infrastructure to ensure operational reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and logistics teams to meet production goals.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure site integrity and safety.
- Train and develop team members to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quarry or mining operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of aggregate production processes and equipment.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quarry management software.
