Our team is dedicated to delivering superior patient care in a warm and welcoming environment. We think great patient care starts with caring support staff, and we're looking for staff who enjoy interacting with patients and the many families that we work with.
We firmly believe technology and online tools (such as online appointment booking and patient messaging) can enhance patient care and streamline and operation of our clinic. As such, proficiency with computers and technology is a must, and excellent writing and customer service skills will be highly valued.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of post-secondary education in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- An undergraduate or bachelor's degree in Health Science, Kinesiology, General Science or Arts is considered an asset.
- Six months to one year of experience in a customer service environment (ie. retail or hospitality)
- Computer skills: EMR (Telus Practice Solutions Suite or any other EMR), Google Drive, Mac/PC
- Phlebotomy and/ or IM certification

- Demonstrates maturity, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Ability effectively follow assigned procedures for various scenarios.
- Demonstrates the ability to use problem solving skills.
- Passionate about personal learning, training and ongoing development.
Responsibilities will include greeting patients, basic medical tasks (training to be provided), taking vitals, administration of vaccines, sterilization of equipment, assisting practitioners with procedures and administrative tasks.
Hours: Hours will be primarily weekdays (shifts between 7:30am-8:30pm) and/or Saturdays (9:30am-2:30pm).
Location: Position will primarily be located at 605 Royal York Road. We work as a team and covering shifts at our other location at 2240 Lake Shore Blvd W. may be required.
