Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced line cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with experience in the food service industry. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace and equipment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and tools used in meal preparation.
  • A passion for serving high-quality dishes that delight customers.
