Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Staff Member to join our team at Drum Brewing. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for preparing quality food. As part of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for prepping, cooking, and plating menu items, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting a smooth and efficient service for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
- Assist with daily food prep, portioning, and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Support opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and proper food storage.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs to management.
- Follow health and safety standards to maintain compliance with AHS regulations.
Experience
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Understanding of safe food handling and sanitation practices preferred.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and communication skills in a busy environment.
Availability
We are looking for someone with open availability who can work 3-4 shifts per week, with the potential for additional hours in the future.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
