Server/Cashier

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have previous food industry experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change efficiently
• Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are maintained
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, cashier station, and kitchen surfaces in accordance with food safety regulations
• Manage multiple tables or customers simultaneously while providing attentive service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to uphold sanitation standards
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not mandatory
• Must be at least 18 years old or older
