The Position
As Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition & Onboarding, you will play a strategic role in shaping how Plan International Canada attracts, engages, and welcomes top talent. Reporting to the Director, Talent & Culture, you'll partner with senior leaders to design inclusive hiring strategies, lead workforce planning initiatives, and ensure a seamless and impactful onboarding experience that reflects our values and commitment to equity.
What success looks like?
- Be a partner and strategic advisor to the business on Talent Acquisition, including proactive strategies to build talent pipelines
- Lead, develop, and inspire a team to positively represent the Plan International brand through best practices in overall candidate experience
- Implement impactful recruitment strategies to support priority talent needs and areas of growth
- Own the recruitment data and metrics dashboard and provide timely reporting updates to leadership
- Conduct recruitment strategy meetings with business leaders to understand their current and future talent needs and develop search strategies
- Lead the end-to end recruitment process including interviews, assessments, offer negotiation and management
- Review and assess recruitment tools and templates on an ongoing basis to ensure a consistent and positive candidate and hiring manager experience
- Lead onboarding initiatives that contribute to the overall new hire experience and boost engagement
- Facilitate quarterly orientation sessions as part of the new hire onboarding experience
- Proactively monitor the external market to stay on top of trends and best in class recruitment practices

- Have experience in facilitating new hire sessions and training for hiring managers
- Are a big picture thinker
- Are self-motivated and highly responsive to business needs
- Hold a passion for mission driven work and personal values aligned with Plan International Canada's values

Plan International Canada is a hybrid workplace. You will work from the office and from home.
The salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $73,000 and $91,000. We comprehensively evaluate a variety of factors to determine fair compensation, including experience, specific job-related skills, and relevant educational or professional training. Additionally, we ensure that compensation is equitable across our team and aligns with current market trends. This role also qualifies for an extensive benefits package and generous paid time off.
