Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining industrial presses to produce high-quality products efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing experience who are eager to contribute to a dynamic production environment. Candidates with warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with machining or packaging will have a distinct advantage. The position requires a focus on safety, precision, and productivity.

Duties

  • Set up and operate various types of industrial presses according to specifications and production schedules
  • Monitor press operation to ensure optimal performance and product quality
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns
  • Adjust machine settings as needed for different production runs
  • Load raw materials into presses and unload finished products for packaging or further processing
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams when necessary
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure all operations adhere to company policies

Skills

  • Mechanical knowledge related to press machinery, machining, and general manufacturing processes
  • Experience with forklift operation is a plus for handling raw materials and finished goods
  • Strong understanding of packaging procedures within a manufacturing setting
  • Warehouse experience beneficial for inventory management and material handling
  • Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, or work instructions accurately
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly
  • Attention to detail to ensure product quality and safety standards are maintained
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety guidelines
