Mid day-evenings shift. Full and Part Time available.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality or food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive approach to team management, food safety, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations during each shift. Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, and POS systems. A background in supervising teams, managing food handling procedures, and maintaining high standards of hospitality is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and quality service
  • Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold food safety standards
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and compliance with health regulations
  • Manage cash handling procedures, including POS transactions.
  • Train and mentor team members on food safety, food handling, and hospitality best practices
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely replenishment of supplies
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Enforce adherence to all safety protocols, including food safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • Collaborate with management on operational improvements and staff scheduling

Experience

  • Proven supervisory experience in a restaurant or food service environment
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards
  • Experience with restaurant management systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Strong background in customer service, hospitality, and team management
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Previous roles involving restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or hotel/hospitality settings are preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and handle interviewing processes
  • Experience with cash handling and operating POS systems or comparable technology is required
