We are a locally owned and operated family business specializing in custom countertop fabrication and installation. Known for our craftsmanship, customer service, and attention to detail, we take pride in helping customers bring their vision to life. We're currently seeking a reliable and organized Administrative Assistantto join our team and provide both office and sales support.
Position Overview:
As our Administrative Assistant, you'll be an essential part of our team, handling day-to-day administrative duties while also assisting with sales-related tasks. You'll work closely with our customers, vendors, and internal team to keep projects moving smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, has great people skills, and thrives in a supportive and busy work environment.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
Answer and direct phone calls and emails
Greet customers and clients in person and over the phone
Schedule appointments, installations, and deliveries
Prepare files for templates and installations
Maintain accurate job files and records
Assist with invoicing, billing, data entry, and bill payments.
Perform general office duties (filing, ordering supplies, etc.)
Support the owners and team with administrative tasks as needed
Sales Support Duties:
Assist customers in the showroom by answering questions and providing product information
Help prepare quotes, estimates, and proposals
Follow up with customers and vendors regarding quotes, materials, and timelines
Maintain updated product catalogs and pricing sheets
Order product and maintain inventory
Coordinate with the fabrication and installation teams to ensure smooth project flow
Qualifications:
Previous administrative or office experience preferred
Experience in sales or customer service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable with computers and office software (QuickBooks experience is a plus)
Ability to learn product details and assist customers with confidence
A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
