Description

The Technical Presales Engineer will serve as a trusted technical advisor to channel partners, enabling them to position and deliver our solutions effectively. This role bridges the gap between sales and technology, providing technical expertise during the presales cycle, driving partner enablement, and ensuring successful solution adoption. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. This position is critical to driving partner success and accelerating revenue through the channel. By combining technical expertise with strategic enablement, the Technical Presales Engineer ensures partners are equipped to deliver exceptional solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner Enablement & Training: Deliver technical workshops, webinars, and hands-on sessions to educate partners on product capabilities and best practices. Develop technical content, demos, and solution guides tailored for partner use.
  • Presales Support: Collaborate with channel partners during the sales cycle to provide technical validation, solution architecture, and product demonstrations. Assist partners in responding to RFPs/RFIs with accurate technical details and solution designs.
  • Solution Design & Architecture: Understand partner and end-customer requirements to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions. Provide guidance on integration, deployment, and interoperability with existing systems.
  • Technical Evangelism: Represent the company at partner events, trade shows, and technical forums. Act as a subject matter expert for partners, influencing technical decision-making.
  • Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Gather partner feedback on product features and share insights with product management. Identify gaps in partner technical capabilities and create enablement plans.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong technical background in relevant technologies (cloud, networking, security, SaaS, etc.).
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience in presales engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners.
  • Familiarity with partner programs and channel sales models.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience supporting channel partners in a technical capacity.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Cisco, VMware).
  • Knowledge of competitive landscape and ability to articulate differentiation.
