TAQA North is currently searching for a Marketing Representative. Reporting to the Manager, Marketing, this position would work within the marketing team as a commercial lead and a key contributing member. The marketing team at TAQA North is a small, collaborative group, which means you'll have the opportunity to work closely with all team members and make a direct impact. This environment requires a high degree of autonomy and initiative, but also offers the chance to contribute meaningfully as part of a supportive, tight-knit team.
This position will also work closely with field personnel and development teams and will also manage relationships with purchasers and pipeline and/or trucking companies with the objective of maximizing TAQA netbacks. Coordination with marketing accounting is required for accruals, pricing, invoicing, and revenue verification.
Your key responsibilities:
The Marketing Representative responsibilities include:
- Commercial lead for TAQA North's Natural Gas and/or the Crude Oil, & NGL portfolio
- Evaluation and analysis of marketing opportunities and/or transportation opportunities
- Point person for pricing trends, pipeline events, market updates
- Contract negotiation and portfolio optimization
- Preparation and maintenance of production forecasts
- Communicate with operations, purchasers, pipelines, truckers, and development teams
- Contract administration and maintenance of marketing data and files
- Leverage assets to contribute to marketing value-add
Your qualifications:
- Minimum eight years related experience in the oil and gas industry
- Bachelor of Commerce, Business degree or equivalent
- Strong business acumen with exceptionally strong economic modeling skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage and build strategic internal and external relationships
- High attention to detail
- Ability to be a strong team player, but also the capability to work independently
