Our Big Molly site near Glenevis (40 minutes northwest of Spruce Grove) is our regional Sand Processing Facility where we mine, wash and dry frac sand for direct shipment to our customers. We take pride in our product and value our employees while providing a close-knit, local place to work.

Wheeled Asset Technician
Position Overview
Wayfinder Corp. is seeking a Wheeled Asset Technician to join our Maintenance Division. This full-time, permanent position involves repairing, maintaining, and inspecting company vehicles, machinery, and wheeled assets while supporting plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all Wayfinder Corp. and OHS safety policies
- Examine, diagnose, and repair wheeled assets, vehicles, and machinery
- Replace parts for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Remove and replace components: tires, wheels, engines, and transmissions
- Maintain repair records, maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Complete hazard assessments and report unsafe conditions
- Conduct pre-shift and operational safety inspections to ensure equipment meets industry standards
- Participate in safety meetings and hazard identification processes
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of mobile equipment is strongly preferred, mechanical or maintenance experience etc.
- Full Class 5 Driver's License (Non-GDL) with clean abstract
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work at heights in all weather conditions
- Strong accountability, organizational skills, and team-focused attitude
- Pre-employment testing required
