Electrical Engineering Co-op Student

We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op Student to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electrical systems design, analysis, and implementation.

This is a unique opportunity for students enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program or related field to work on various projects, develop technical skills, and contribute to project success.

  1. Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for Transmission and Distribution, Power generation, Industrial, and Renewables sectors.
  2. Support senior engineers with project documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical reports.
  3. Contribute to the analysis of electrical systems and prepare relevant calculations and technical documents.
  4. Participate in site visits and assist with project coordination among teams and stakeholders.
  5. Help perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems under senior supervision.

To be successful in this role, you will have strong academic background in electrical concepts and principles. Familiarity with electrical engineering design software and tools is an asset. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work proactively on assigned tasks are also essential.

You will work collaboratively with engineers and other team members to contribute to project success. This is a great opportunity to develop technical skills, build your professional network, and gain industry experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a Diploma or Degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong academic background in electrical concepts and principles.
  • Familiarity with electrical engineering design software and tools is an asset.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work proactively on assigned tasks.
