Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Plastic Injection Mold Technician at our facility in Summerland, BC. We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in operating injection molding machines. This role requires diligence and a commitment to supporting high-quality standards in the production process. The Injection Mold Technician will collaborate closely with other team members to ensure efficient operation and adherence to safety protocols. The Technician will ideally have experience in molding small and medium sized parts in various resins. Experience with Nissei would be an asset. Other skills could include robot programming and end of arm tooling. We are offering between $30 to $40 per hour based on experience. Relocation aid may be available, if needed, for the right candidate.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of operating machinery and tools.
- Ability to keep a clean and safe work environment, always adhering to safety protocols.
- Experience using various resin types.
- 2-5 years experience working in a similar environment.
- Mindfulness for quality inspection techniques to ensure product compliance with specifications.
- Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
