Reporting to the Prince Albert Agro Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
- Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, agribusiness partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Conduct field scouting to diagnose crop issues (weeds, pests, disease, nutrient deficiencies).
- Provide tailored agronomic recommendations based on soil tests, crop conditions, and farm goals.
- Promote and sell seed, fertilizer, pesticides, and related agronomic products.
- Support growers with product selection, application timing, and best management practices.
- Deliver product information through field days, demonstrations, and agronomy meetings.
- Collaborate with suppliers, product representatives, and internal sales teams.
- Stay updated on new technologies, crop trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain records of field observations, sales activity, and customer interactions.
- Meet sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are :
You are looking for a career in Agriculture and:
- You hold a degree or diploma in Agriculture and are eligible for membership with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists.
- You hold a Certified Crop Advisor or Professional Agrologist designation or willing to obtain.
- You have strong knowledge in crop production, soil science, and pest management.
- You have the ability to analyze field data and provide actionable recommendations.
- You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- You have strong sales skills: prospecting, negotiation, account management.
- You are self motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You are adaptable to seasonal demands and variable work environments.
- You are willing and able to achieve WHMIS and TDG certifications.
- You carry a valid class 5 drivers license and are wiling to travel within assigned territory.
