Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Cafe Attendant, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met. Your responsibilities will include serving customers, preparing food, and maintaining cleanliness in the cafe environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly and assisting them with their orders.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
  • Handle food items with care, following proper food handling procedures.
  • Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
  • Engage with customers to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Perform barista duties as required, including coffee preparation and serving.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience or background in the food industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
  • Experience in serving and food preparation is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Barista experience is a plus, along with familiarity in hospitality settings.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
