Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofing Specialist to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment. The Roofing Specialist plays a vital part in ensuring the durability and safety of roofing structures while delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and replace various roofing materials including shingles, metal, and flat roofing systems
  • Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, and utility knives to perform roofing tasks
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
  • Measure and cut materials precisely to fit designated areas
  • Perform caulking and sealing to prevent leaks and improve weather resistance
  • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met
  • Assist with heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely
  • Maintain a clean and organized work site to promote safety and efficiency
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents on-site

Requirements

  • Proven experience with construction, carpentry, or maintenance person work is preferred
  • Familiarity with hand tools, blueprint reading, caulking, and roofing techniques
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Strong physical stamina with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Prior experience working with construction safety standards is a plus
  • Valid driver's license is preferred for transportation between job sites
