Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced
Data Developer (Software Engineer)
with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in automation, data engineering, and cloud-based development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
PowerShell, SQL Server, Delta Lake, and Azure DevOps Automation
, along with a solid understanding of
YAML
and GitHub Copilot. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can work independently, communicate effectively, and navigate complex technical challenges with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated data workflows and processes using
    PowerShell
    and
    Azure DevOps Automation (Runbooks)
    .
  • Manage and optimize data pipelines leveraging
    SQL Server
    and
    Delta Lake
    for high-performance data processing.
  • Develop scripts and automation routines to streamline deployment and operational processes.
  • Work with
    YAML
    configurations for CI/CD pipelines and DevOps integration.
  • Utilize
    GitHub Copilot
    and other AI-assisted tools to improve code quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineering, analytics, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently, ensuring high system reliability and performance.
  • Maintain strong documentation practices and ensure compliance with organizational coding standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8–10 years
    of professional experience as a Data Developer, Data Engineer, or similar software engineering role.
  • Proven expertise in the following:
  • Automation Accounts (Runbooks)
  • PowerShell scripting
  • SQL Server
    (data modeling, stored procedures, query optimization)
  • Delta Lake
  • Azure DevOps Automation
  • YAML configuration and scripting
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
