Position Summary:
407 ETR is looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative Sponsorship Coordinator to join its Communications & Government Relations team. This role will help bring 407 ETR's brand to life through strategic sponsorships, campaigns and storytelling. The role will be key in managing Keep Moving by 407 ETR sponsorships and ensuring sponsorship activities are well-organized, well-executed and aligned with the brand and business goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate sponsorship and partnership activities from planning through execution.
  • Lead the day-to-day management of Keep Moving by 407 ETR to review and approve sponsorship requests according to the program budget and application requirements.
  • Support Advisor with sponsorship negotiations and contracts, including liaising with legal, procurement and vendors to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Assist with the development of advertising and coordinate the placement of digital, radio and print advertisements to ensure alignment with strategic communications goals.
  • Assist with the management of third-party vendors and corporate partners as required to ensure deliverables are executed on time.
  • Monitor sponsorship activation and brand visibility across events, digital and community channels.
  • Ability to capture high-quality photos and videos during events.
  • Write and publish content for news releases, website, social media, reports and other communications materials.
  • Edit photos and videos for use across digital platforms, presentations and promotional materials.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and provide insights to improve content performance.
  • Maintain regular KPI tracking and reporting for sponsorship and donations.
  • Supports media monitoring and media relations activities, as required.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education, preferably in sponsorship, advertising, business, marketing or communications. Post-graduate certificate in PR, Sponsorships, Communications or Events, an asset.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sponsorship, fundraising, events or advertising.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working with contracts and basic budgeting or tracking.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, familiarity with project management or CRM tools is an asset.
  • Enthusiasm for community engagement, youth initiatives and brand storytelling.
  • Experience working with vendors, agencies or external partners.
  • Knowledge in photo and video editing software (e.g., Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva).
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
