Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and experience with various accounting software. This role is essential in ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently, providing support to both staff and management. The Office Manager will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a productive work environment
- Oversee bookkeeping functions including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis
- Prepare budgets and financial reports to assist in strategic planning
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for financial management
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and assist with audits as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication
- Provide administrative support to management as required
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) is highly desirable
- Experience with bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic HR practices
