1. Grade 12 education or recognized equivalent
2. OSMT Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate
3. Experience in Core Laboratory
4. Experience in Laboratory Reference Centre
5. Experience and demonstrated proficiency in blood collection and collection of other body fluids as necessary
6. Data entry and order entry skills in Meditech
7. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

The Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP) is a collaborative program funded and operated jointly by Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Joseph's Hospital.
