About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a residential portfolio of approximately
400 units
. You will ensure properties are well-maintained, tenants receive exceptional service, and financial performance meets company objectives. Working closely with the director of operations and support leasing team, you will manage tenant communication, building maintenance, budgets, and compliance to deliver a high-quality living experience for residents.

Position Overview

You will manage all aspects of residential property operations, including tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and financial oversight. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership, and the ability to balance operational efficiency with tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations for a portfolio of
    400 residential units

  • Manage tenant communications,
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, control expenses, and report on financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with local housing regulations and company policies.
  • Supervise on-site staff and contractors as needed.
  • Implement strategies to maintain high occupancy and tenant satisfaction.

Desired Candidate

  • Minimum
    3 years of experience
    in residential property management.
  • Strong knowledge of Quebec rental laws (TAL) and building operations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with property management software (Yardi & Building Stack) and MS Office.
  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
