Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy robust backend applications using Golang, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to support client applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components with server-side logic, utilizing frameworks such as React, Angular, or
  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality across various platforms including Linux and Windows environments.
  • Implement microservices architecture utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization tools.
  • Write unit tests and perform continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Maintain documentation using UML diagrams and adhere to Agile methodologies for project management.
  • Engage in database design and management using SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server) or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies such as serverless computing on AWS/Azure and modern development practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on Golang programming language.
  • Solid understanding of web development principles including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and integrating third-party APIs.
  • Familiarity with database design and management using SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL) or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Proficiency with version control systems including GitHub or SVN; experience with TFS is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of OOP principles, UML modeling, Agile development practices, and SDLC processes.
  • Ability to write clean, efficient code with thorough debugging skills; experience in unit testing is essential.
  • Familiarity with application development tools such as Visual Studio or Eclipse is advantageous.
