This family is seeking an experienced and dependable caregiver for their teen college student in Bedford Park, Toronto.

Position Details:

Location: Bedford Park, Toronto

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.; Fridays: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Schedule may change in January with the start of the new semester, with potential for increased hours

Rate: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Support & Transportation: Meet the teen at home and accompany her to and from college classes (approx. 10 minutes; she uses a power wheelchair).
  • Workspace Assistance: Help set up her desk/workstation in class and pack away materials at the end of class.
  • Personal Care Support: Assist with toileting as needed, including sliding transfer from wheelchair to toilet (family will provide training; sliding board kept in school locker).

Qualifications/Preferences:

  • Experienced caregiver
  • Open to learning and following safety guidance

Additional Information:

  • Family provides visitor parking for caregivers who drive
