Job Summary

We are a professional dual-income family seeking a Household and Personal Support Manager to live in and assist with daily household operations, elder support, and after-school care for one child in our Maple, Ontario home.

This position is ideal for a caring, organized, and proactive individual who enjoys creating a clean, calm, and supportive home environment.

Main Duties

  • Provide companionship and light personal care for an elderly family member.
  • Assist with mobility, meals, and daily wellbeing of the senior.
  • Support after-school routines for a 10-year-old child, including snack preparation and homework supervision.Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and organization of household spaces.
  • Manage kitchen and pantry inventory; plan and prepare nutritious family meals.
  • Coordinate errands, grocery shopping, and household supplies.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly home environment.Assist with light garden maintenance.
  • Keep the home environment safe for family dog.

Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school.
  • Certificate or training as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent home-care experience.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification
  • Valid Ontario driver's licence.
  • Speaks fluent Hindi or Gujarati
  • Ability to communicate (written and oral) effectively in English.
  • Must be willing to live in the family residence.

Work Conditions

  • Private furnished bedroom and meals provided at no cost.
  • Smoke-free, pet-friendly home environment.30 hours per week (Monday–Friday schedule, with flexibility).
  • Overtime rate: 1.5× hourly wage after 44 hours per week.
  • Two weeks (4%) paid vacation per year.
