ESL Instructor

Job Overview:

inlingua Victoria is seeking enthusiastic, patient, and engaging ESL Instructors to teach English online to a group of international students from Mexico (ages 17–20). Classes are designed to strengthen students' English skills and build confidence in communication through interactive lessons and conversation-based activities.

Program Dates:

December 8th – December 19th

Schedule:

• 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: English Class
• 9:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.: English Class
• 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Conversation Class

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured online ESL lessons to small groups of learners
• Create a welcoming and encouraging virtual classroom environment
• Facilitate interactive speaking and conversation sessions
• Adapt lesson materials to meet the needs and language levels of students
• Provide feedback and monitor student progress
• Communicate effectively with program coordinators and support staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (required)
• TESOL/TEFL certification (required)
• At least 1 year of ESL teaching experience (online or in-person preferred)
• Comfortable teaching in an online environment (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
• Reliable internet connection and digital literacy Energetic, friendly, and professional teaching style

Candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in Canada.
