Care Pharmacies in Dartmouth is looking for a reliable, adaptable Pharmacy Assistant with strong computer skills that is ready to offer the best care to our patients. This position is at Kyte's Pharmachoice in Dartmouth but may be shared between multiple locations within a close geographical location in the Dartmouth area.

Care Pharmacies is dedicated to looking after our staff as we do for our patients by keeping them happy and healthy at work and beyond. We take suggestions and experiences from our pharmacy team to innovate, grow and provide the best patient care. The candidate we are looking for is an effective communicator and an active team player in the dispensary. When dealing with someone's health, we need strong attention to detail and a person willing to provide excellent customer service so each of our patients leaves with a smile. Lastly, we need someone who enjoys trying new things, ready to face the next challenge. We like to use technology including automated counting machines to optimize pharmacy workflow.

Tasks

  • Accurately prepare prescriptions with great attention to detail

  • Provide amazing customer service to every person who comes through the door

  • Order medication and supplies for the dispensary

  • Work under the pharmacist and pharmacy manager to accomplish other tasks as required

Requirements

  • Experience working in a pharmacy is essential

  • Experience with Kroll dispensing software is an asset

  • Knowledge of prescription billing is beneficial

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
