Field Sales Representative

COMPENSATION: up to 22$/h, 20-40h per week.

Solar Ambassador - door to door

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales leads by visiting prospective clients at their homes and businesses;
  • Educate homeowners and businesses on solar and answer questions;
  • Book on-the-spot appointments with homeowners/business owners and a solar advisor; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Criminal record check is required;
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driver's abstract;
  • Proficiency in English is required, bilingualism in French is an asset;
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends;
  • Previous business to consumer sales experience;
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent sales skills;
  • Ability to handle rejection;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Previous door to door sales experience is an asset;
  • Proficient with technology and software, familiarity with CRM's an asset; and
  • Previous experience in the renewable or sustainability industry is an asset.
