Job Summary: We are seeking a Sanding Truck Driver with some experience to join our snow removal operations team. As a key member of our landscaping company, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective snow and ice control in our service areas.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license: Class 5 with air brakes, or Class 2, 3, 4 and 5
  • Clean driving abstract
  • Some loader experience is an asset
  • Proven experience in snow removal operations
  • Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work up to 12 hours per shift
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and driving regulations
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in adverse weather conditions​

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Operate sanding trucks to apply materials for snow and ice control
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment
  • Monitor weather conditions and respond accordingly
  • Maintain communication with team members and supervisors

Work Environment:

  • Work in an outdoor environment, where the employee will be exposed to a variety of weather conditions, including cold, wind, rain, and snow.
