Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a qualified Carpenter with experience in general construction to contribute to a variety of building projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a crew.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rough and finish carpentry work on residential and commercial construction sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications
• Install structures and fixtures, including windows, doors, framing, siding, drywall, and cabinetry
• Ensure work is completed according to safety and quality standards
• Collaborate effectively with site supervisors, trades, and subcontractors
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of carpentry experience in a construction environment
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong understanding of tools, materials, and construction methods
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
• Red Seal certification or apprenticeship an asset, but not required
