Futech Inc. Group of Companies is expanding, and we're on the lookout for three passionate and driven Outside Sales Representatives to join our growing team at our facilities in Ottawa and Gatineau. What You'll Do as an Outside Sales Representative:

  • Collaborate closely with Inside Sales Specialists, who are experts in providing quotes and advice for contractors, OEM automation distribution projects, control panel pricing, and distribution equipment.
  • Focus on building and enhancing relationships with contractors, OEMs, and industrial HVAC customers.
  • Work alongside our VFD specialists to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct onsite visits with clients and team specialists, building rapport that strengthens relationships and drives sales growth—offering a level of service that sets Futech apart from other electrical distributors.

One (1) Outside Sales Representative needed to cover this region. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in the electrical trade. Experience as a technician, distributor employee, or building operator is an asset.

Job Description:

  • Promote and demonstrate new and existing products and services offered by Futech.
  • Offer product knowledge and information to customers, including contractors, municipalities, industrial clients, and building operators.
  • Develop new business leads and follow up on prospects.
  • Provide professional, effective, and efficient solutions for customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Participate in trade shows, training, and product meetings as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal, selling, and negotiation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to impart knowledge.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual French or English is an asset, but not required.
  • Must own a car and have a valid driver's license.

Compensation:

Competitive base salary + commission.
