Job Purpose

GSK is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Hospital Sales to join our Respiratory Specialty Care team. This role is field-based covering British Columbia and Manitoba and reports directly to the National Sales Director. The ideal candidate will reside in British Columbia or Manitoba, as this position supports those territories.   

As a Senior Manager, Hospital Sales, you will be responsible for executing strategic business plans that drive hospital customer engagement and maximize the value of GSK's respiratory portfolio. You will lead hospital sales initiatives, foster meaningful customer relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the successful implementation of national strategies. Your ability to demonstrate business acumen, communicate effectively, and work autonomously will be critical to success. You will collaborate closely with Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), marketing, and market access teams to support GSK's mission to help Canadians do more, feel better, and live longer.

  • Leading and delivering hospital sales performance across assigned territories

  • Building and coaching a high-performing hospital sales team to meet business objectives

  • Developing and executing clear regional business plans that align with national strategy and local customer needs

  • Fostering strong partnerships with hospital stakeholders and cross-functional teams to improve patient care

  • Using data and insights to identify growth opportunities and adapt plans based on results

  • Managing resources effectively while ensuring compliant, ethical execution of all activities

Basic Qualifications:   

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of hospital or healthcare sales experience 

  • Minimum 2 years leading or managing sales teams or projects

  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering measurable results

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly across assigned territories

Preferred Qualifications:   

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience working in hospital formularies, procurement, or pharmacy decision-making within the BC and Manitoba territories

  • Proven ability to use analytics and CRM tools to drive performance and customer planning

  • Experience collaborating with medical, marketing, and market access teams

  • Comfortable leading change in a fast-paced environment

  • Bilingual in English and French

  • Experience managing budgets and expense control

***This position requires the employee to drive routinely on company business and allows for the provision of a company-leased vehicle. However, to be eligible for this position and a company vehicle, GSK will need to obtain acceptable results from a license verification inquiry and drivers abstract review against its safe driver program requirements***
