Job Summary

As a Title Searcher, you will play a crucial role in the real estate process by conducting thorough title searches and ensuring the accuracy of property records. Your expertise in real estate practices and title processing will assist in this regard. You'll leverage your research skills and familiarity with Teraview and word processing applications. Join us in maintaining the integrity of the Real Estate industry in Ontario

What you'll do

  • Conduct comprehensive title searches to verify property ownership and identify any liens or encumbrances.
  • Analyze legal documents, including deeds, mortgages, and development documents to provide summarized content.
  • Use Teraview to search properties.
  • Collaborate with clients and provide exceptional customer service throughout the title process.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and providing comments on issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all title searches and related documentation.
  • Stay updated on changes in real estate law and industry best practices to enhance your expertise.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong understanding of real estate law and title processing procedures.
  • Excellent research skills with an eye for detail.
  • Proficient in using Teraview software for property analysis.
  • Excel at customer service.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience working in real estate at a law office.
  • Familiarity with customer service best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
