As a part of the Refined Footcare Team, the Certified Nail Technician is responsible for providing exceptional care and service to patients and clients while delivering professional dry pedicures. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, disciplined and looking to be part of our exciting journey based on a long-term partnership with exceptional growth potential.

FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides nail care treatments including nail shaping, cuticle care, callous and corn removal, and polish application.
  • Can recognize foot conditions (warts, callus, fungus, ingrown nails) and consults with other allied health care professionals within the clinic to contribute to treatment plans for clients.
  • Experience in laser treatments for wart and fungal toenails a nice to have.
  • Effectively explain treatment to the patient before beginning and offer appropriate enhancements to their overall service experience
  • Is proactive at building a successful medical pedicure business within the clinic where patients are both acquired and retained.
  • Maintains client records in the EMR.
  • Follow sterile techniques and use of an autoclave to avoid any risk of infection to clients
  • Ensuring treatment area and equipment are all well maintained.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certificate or Diploma as a Nail Technician from a recognized institution in Ontario.
  • Passionate about footcare and helping clients maintain healthy, happy feet.
  • Excellent patient service skills that build loyalty and referrals.
  • Able to work a variety of shifts including days, weekends, and evenings.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
