Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests promptly and provide them with menus while explaining daily specials.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS.
  • Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and accuracy.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure all guests receive prompt service throughout their dining experience.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, following food safety guidelines.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to proper food handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
  • Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.

Experience

  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
  • Experience in upselling menu items is a plus.
