Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Advisor to join our growing team in Markham, ON.
How You Will Contribute:
- Manage phone queue metrics with your team to ensure optimal availability for members
- Manage pipeline and quote metrics using CRM software
- New business leads to being contacted within service level standards
- Follow-up phone calls on warm web leads
- Provide exceptional customer experience on the phone and through email
- Prepare quotes for new business using ARS or company portals
- Provide insurance consultation by recommending appropriate insurance coverage
- Partner with Client Service Advisors when troubleshooting files
- Keeping current on carrier underwriting, marketplace trends and continuous education
- Participating in group marketing events
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
- RIBO license in good standing
- Post-Secondary Education
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask using digital procedures and technology
- Knowledge of insurance coverages, contracts and familiarity with carrier portals.
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point. Able to create, edit, and merge letters, spreadsheets, labels, etc.
- Proficient knowledge of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes etc.)
- 2+ experience in the insurance industry, or a related field.
Pay Range
$58,000 - $70,000 AnnualActual salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and work location. Package may include base pay, commissions, and/or bonuses.
