Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team in Blue River, BC. Includes travel, LOA, overtime, accommodations, etc. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment on construction sites. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including backhoes, excavators, and graders in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with backhoes, excavators, and graders.
- Provide proof of tickets / certifications with resume.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Familiarity with construction processes and safety standards related to heavy equipment operation.
- Previous experience with Caterpillar machinery or similar brands is a plus.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
