Your Role

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager

Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown is currently recruiting for a Laundry Attendant In this role, you will:

• Sort laundry by fabric type, color, and item to ensure effective cleaning.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment according to company standards.
• Identify and remove damaged or stained linens before washing.
• Load washers and dryers within recommended weight limits.
• Press, fold, and store all linens neatly and properly.
• Assist with linen inventory and report any discarded or reused items.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, including uniform and name tag.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting and use of protective equipment.
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members and assist with guest requests.
• Report equipment issues, supply shortages, or unsafe conditions to management.

What You Bring to the Table

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of hotel laundry experience is an asset
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
• Flexible availability
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively and professionally with other departments, guests, and vendors
• Ability to handle difficult situations and individuals diplomatically while maintaining professionalism
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting high performance standards
• Ability to follow instructions
