Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Civil Litigation / Family Law Lawyer with 2-3 years of experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and family law with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex legal disputes, develop strategic litigation plans, and advocate effectively for clients in various legal proceedings. The Lawyer will play a vital role in representing clients' interests, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and delivering high-quality legal services.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts with precision and clarity.
  • Develop case strategies by analyzing facts, evidence, and applicable laws to prepare for negotiations or court proceedings.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations with professionalism and confidence.
  • Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other stakeholders to gather information and build strong cases.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure all deadlines are met according to court schedules.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and precedents that could impact ongoing or future litigation.

Skills

  • Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw is essential for effective case preparation.
  • Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable settlements while maintaining professional integrity.
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting clear, persuasive legal documents and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated ability in legal drafting to produce precise pleadings, motions, and contracts that withstand scrutiny.
  • Effective communication skills for presenting cases convincingly in court and during negotiations.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues critically and develop strategic solutions.
