Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles, including assembling and welding components as needed.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to execute repairs and installations.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in all repair work.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs clearly and professionally to clients.
  • Keep detailed records of services performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations for future maintenance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.

Experience

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or independent shop setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in automotive repair techniques, including the use of diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and automotive schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
