Responsibilities

Western's Technology Transfer Office is seeking a motivated and high-performing Ecommerce Analyst to provide on-site support for its diverse portfolio of projects. The Ecommerce Analyst will play a key role in advancing Western's research commercialization by upgrading and migrating ecommerce platforms, optimizing digital assets, and supporting technology transfer initiatives.

This role will be responsible for upgrading and migrating Ecommerce websites managed by the Western Technology Transfer Office. As well, this position will provide strategic recommendations regarding the licensing of copyrighted materials, ensuring optimal solutions for the organization's digital assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Upgrade and migrate Direct to Market websites for the Western Technology Transfer Office.
  • Oversee the Fourth R Shopify website and support the BioNext website transition.
  • Evaluate and recommend licensing strategies for copyrighted materials.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret ecommerce data to inform decision-making.
  • Monitor website usability, conversion funnels, and product performance.
  • Collaborate with web development, design, and marketing teams to implement data-driven improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Dual degrees in Business and Sciences (preferred).
  • Technical expertise in science-related fields with business acumen.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing metrics and attribution models.
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
