Job Overview:

We are currently hiring a dependable and experienced Clamp Operator on behalf of our client located in North York, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance sit-down clamp forklift to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently. This role demands strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate clamp forklifts to handle materials such as paper rolls, cartons, or similar products
  • Load and unload goods from trucks, storage areas, and production lines
  • Ensure products are transported without damage and stored in proper locations
  • Conduct daily equipment checks and report any issues or maintenance requirements
  • Follow all safety protocols and workplace procedures
  • Assist with inventory control by tracking the movement of materials accurately
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Clamp Operator or in a similar role
  • Valid forklift license/certification (preferred)
  • Familiarity with clamp trucks and warehouse safety standards
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Bilingual in English and Filipino is preferred
