We are looking for an experienced
Manager, Quality Management System (QMS)
to lead the development, oversight, and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with industry standards while driving audit readiness, operational excellence, and cross-functional alignment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, plan, and conduct internal QMS audits in accordance with the AS9100 series of standards.
  • Drive and oversee
    Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA)
    from customer feedback and internal findings.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal, supplier, and third-party quality system audits, including shop floor assessments.
  • Manage Receiving Inspection processes and ensure full conformity of incoming parts.
  • Oversee and maintain the DSQR (Designated Supplier Quality Representative) process.
  • Perform all formal audit functions: planning, opening/closing meetings, daily updates, audit reports, and corrective action approvals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors during certification and recertification audits.
  • Coordinate audit schedules, manage logistics, and ensure timely closure of all corrective actions.
  • Ensure corrective actions are properly implemented and completed within required timelines.
  • Administer the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2000, AS9100, customer requirements, and internal policies.
  • Provide guidance to quality assurance teams, drive the development of effective quality systems, and support compliance with ISO and API standards.
  • Mentor, coach, and train staff on QMS requirements and quality best practices.
  • Prepare documentation for and lead Management Review Meetings.
  • Evaluate the overall health of the QMS and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support quality and operational objectives.

What You Bring

Education

  • Certificate or degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or process engineering.
  • Certified ISO 9001/AS9100 auditor.

Experience

  • 10+ years of Quality Assurance experience
    in a manufacturing setting, including management-level responsibilities.
  • Strong background in engineering or a related technical field.
  • In-depth familiarity with
    AS9100
    , ISO standards, and aerospace and/or nuclear quality requirements.

  • Working knowledge of statistical software or tools used in quality analysis.
  • Solid understanding of quality management tools, methodologies, and systems.
